Isuzu Thailand has made the five millionth car
Isuzu Motors Limited announced on October 28 that its factory in Thailand has reached the 5 million vehicle mark. It took the company 56 years and 11 months to achieve these results.
Since 1963, Isuzu started manufacturing cars in Thailand under a subcontracting agreement.
In 1966, Isuzu Motors Co. was founded. (Thailand) Ltd. (hereinafter IMCT). For more than half a century, the company has been manufacturing commercial vehicles, including Isuzu D-Max pickups.
In 1999, the export of pickups began - first to Australia, and then to other foreign destinations. In 2002, the production of pickup trucks for export was completely transferred from Japan to Thailand.
IMCT is a plant that produces Isuzu D-Max pickups. It plays a leading role in the supply of these vehicles to more than 100 countries around the world.
Isuzu, in turn, will continue to produce vehicles for the diverse needs of its customers, increasing their confidence in the quality and reliability of their products.
